As part of expanding educational cooperation, the Head of the “Cyber Law” Department of Tashkent State University of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor S.S. Gulyamov visited the Nukus Military Academic Lyceum “Temurbeklar maktabi”.
During the visit, Professor Gulyamov thoroughly familiarized himself with the educational activities of the lyceum, its academic programs, and the material and technical facilities of the institution. Particular interest was shown in issues of digital training for students and existing methodologies for teaching information security.
As a result of the meeting with the lyceum’s director M. Utepbergenov, specific areas of interaction were agreed upon. The parties agreed to develop and sign a memorandum of cooperation between the “Cyber Law” Department of TSUL and the Nukus Military Academic Lyceum “Temurbeklar maktabi”. This document will serve as the legal foundation for further joint work.
The key direction of cooperation was identified as the development of cybersecurity textbooks adapted for students of secondary academic lyceums. The educational materials will take into account modern digital challenges and trends in the development of the information environment. Simultaneously, the creation of practice-oriented cybersecurity courses will begin, aimed at developing students’ skills for safe behavior in the digital space.
“The modern world requires special attention to the issues of youth training in the field of information security. Our cooperation with the Nukus Military Academic Lyceum will allow us to create an effective system for teaching the fundamentals of cybersecurity at the secondary education level,” noted Professor S.S. Gulyamov.
The initiative has strategic importance in the context of implementing state policy on ensuring information security and improving digital literacy among young people. Joint educational projects will contribute to the formation of a new generation of specialists with the necessary competencies in the field of information protection and cybersecurity.
